 Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology in the field of cybersecurity by enabling advanced threat detection, automated incident response, malware analysis, and predictive security measures. As cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, organizations and governments are relying on AI-driven systems to protect critical infrastructure, digital services, and sensitive information. However, the integration of AI into cybersecurity creates complex legal and regulatory challenges concerning privacy, accountability, transparency, data governance, and misuse of technology. In India, the legal framework governing AI-based cybersecurity applications is still developing. Existing laws such as the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, cybersecurity policies, and sector-specific regulations provide partial regulation but do not comprehensively address AI-specific risks. Questions regarding liability for autonomous AI decisions, algorithmic transparency, cybersecurity obligations, and ethical use of AI remain unresolved. This research paper examines the current legal frameworks applicable to artificial intelligence in cybersecurity in India, evaluates their limitations, and explores possible future regulatory approaches. It argues that India requires a balanced AI governance model that promotes technological innovation while ensuring security, privacy, accountability, and protection of individual rights.

 Abstract

Tinea corporis is a common superficial dermatophyte infection characterized by annular, erythematous, scaly lesions associated with pruritus. A 51-year-old male, Mr. Patil, presented with complaints of itching eruptions over the left forearm for two months. Dermatological examination revealed characteristic annular erythematous lesions with associated pruritus, clinically diagnosed as tinea corporis. Detailed case-taking was performed, and the totality of symptoms was evaluated according to homoeopathic principles. Based on the characteristic symptomatology and constitutional assessment, Sulphur was selected as the individualized remedy. Sulphur 200C was prescribed and the patient was followed periodically to assess clinical progress. This case report presents the evidence-based homoeopathic management of tinea corporis using Sulphur and evaluates the clinical outcome through the MONARCH (Modified Naranjo Criteria for Homeopathy) assessment tool.

 Abstract

Seasonal environmental changes, including variations in temperature, humidity, and daylight, can influence several physiological parameters such as haemoglobin concentration, blood pressure, and body weight. Understanding these seasonal fluctuations is important for accurate clinical assessment, disease prevention, and effective patient management. Cold weather is associated with peripheral vasoconstriction, reduced sweating, and haemoconcentration, which may result in higher haemoglobin levels and increased blood pressure. In contrast, warm weather promotes vasodilation, increased perspiration, and plasma volume expansion, leading to relatively lower haemoglobin levels and blood pressure. Body weight may also vary seasonally due to changes in physical activity, dietary habits, and metabolic rate. This study aimed to evaluate seasonal variations in haemoglobin, blood pressure, and body weight among male and female patients and to compare these changes between genders. The findings revealed that all three parameters exhibited seasonal variation, with generally higher values during winter and lower values during summer. Although males had higher haemoglobin levels and blood pressure than females, both genders showed similar seasonal patterns. These findings highlight the influence of seasonal changes on physiological health and emphasize the importance of considering seasonal variation during clinical evaluation and patient care.

This paper examines how social media is transforming the Indian political system, with particular attention to political communication, electoral behaviour, democratic participation, party organisation, political polarisation, misinformation, and institutional regulation. The study is based on a qualitative and analytical review of secondary sources, including scholarly literature, institutional reports, election-related studies, and policy discussions.

Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP), commonly known as morning sickness, affects approximately 70-90% of pregnant women, particularly during the first trimester, and can significantly impair maternal quality of life. Due to concerns about fetal safety and adverse effects associated with pharmacological antiemetics, many women seek herbal alternatives for symptom relief. This review evaluates the efficacy and safety of commonly used antiemetic medicinal herbs, including ginger, peppermint (mentha), and chamomile, for managing NVP. It delves into their proposed mechanisms of action, clinical evidence, and considerations for their use during pregnancy. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview for healthcare professionals and pregnant individuals seeking evidence-based information on herbal remedies for NVP.

 Abstract

Abstract This article applies Homi K. Bhabha's postcolonial theory, as elaborated in The Location of Culture (1994), to Orhan Pamuk's novel Snow (2002; trans. Maureen Freely, 2004). It argues that the novel dramatises three of Bhabha's central concepts -- mimicry, the Third Space, and the unhomely -- with unusual fidelity and complexity. Ka, the Turkish poet who returns from twelve years of exile in Germany to the snowbound border city of Kars, is read as a version of Bhabha's mimic man: an intellectual whose identity is constituted in the ambivalent, interstitial space between European modernity and Turkish cultural formation. The National Theatre -- where Sunay Zaim's theatrical coup becomes actual political violence -- is read as a Third Space in Bhabha's sense: a site where the boundary between the performed and the real, the secular and the sacred, is perpetually contested and never resolved. The novel's treatment of Turkish nationhood is further read through Bhabha's concept of DissemiNation: the nation split within itself, articulating the heterogeneity of its population in a double-time of pedagogical authority and performative disruption. The article argues that Pamuk's novel, set in a forgotten Anatolian city during an engineered political crisis, maps with striking precision the structural conditions that Bhabha identifies as constitutive of postcolonial cultural ambivalence.

 Abstract

The colonial period marked a significant phase in the history of Udupi District, bringing profound changes in its socio-economic, political, and cultural structures. Following the fall of the Kingdom of Mysore in 1799, the region became part of the British-administered South Canara District under the Madras Presidency. British policies introduced new systems of land revenue, administration, education, transportation, and trade, which transformed the traditional society and economy of the region. During the colonial period, the establishment of modern educational institutions, the development of road and communication networks, and the encouragement extended to agriculture and maritime trade contributed to the progress of the district. At the same time, colonial rule created economic inequalities and altered indigenous institutions. This article examines the impact of colonial rule on the development of Udupi, focusing on economic growth, social change, educational advancement, cultural transformation, and political awakening. The study highlights how colonial interventions contributed to modernization while also generating challenges that shaped the district's historical trajectory.

 Abstract

Background: Curcumin, the primary bioactive component of turmeric (Curcuma longa), possesses notable anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and therapeutic effects. Nevertheless, its limited solubility in water and low bioavailability pose significant challenges in the development of formulations. Objective: This study aimed to create curcumin tablets and assess their pharmaceutical characteristics in comparison to a commercially available curcumin tablet. Methods: Curcumin tablets were produced utilizing suitable tablet manufacturing methods such as direct compression or wet granulation. Both the formulated and marketed tablets underwent evaluation for various quality control parameters, including weight variation, hardness, thickness, friability, disintegration time, drug content, and in vitro dissolution studies. The results obtained were analyzed and compared.
