Investment plays a vital role in financial planning and long-term wealth generation. Among various investment alternatives, gold and stock markets are considered two major avenues preferred by investors. Gold is traditionally viewed as a safe investment option, whereas stock markets are associated with higher returns and market risk. The present study aims to compare the returns generated from gold and stock market investments over a selected period. The study is based on secondary data collected from financial reports, market records and published articles. The analysis reveals that stock market investments generally provide higher long-term returns compared to gold, while gold offers stability during periods of economic uncertainty. The study concludes that both investment avenues contribute to wealth creation, but investor preference depends on risk tolerance, financial goals and market conditions

Manual scavenging is a bad job that still exists in India even though it's against the law and the constitution. The government made a law in 2013 to stop this practice and help people who do it. More than 10 years later people are still doing manual scavenging in different ways. This is a problem for fairness in society and taking care of the environment. This research paper looks at how policies about scavenging have changed since 2013. It also checks the situation now. Tries to understand the issue from the point of view of taking care of the environment. The study tries to find out how stopping manual scavenging can help achieve the goal of an India by 2047. This goal is about making sure everyone has opportunities and the country develops in a way that is good for the environment. The study finds out that there are problems, with how the government's run with using new technology and with changing society. It also suggests some steps to make sure that people have a good life and the future is sustainable.

This paper explores the evolution of human civilization through the lens of agriculture and its accompanying rituals. By analyzing global harvest traditions--from the "grain-soul" concepts in James Frazer's The Golden Bough to regional Indian festivals like Pongal, Nabanna, and Bihu--the author illustrates a universal "peasant formula" of gratitude toward nature. These festivals transcend mere ritual, representing a profound psychological connection between human survival, spiritual devotion, and ecological harmony. Ultimately, the study highlights how the sacred treatment of new crops reflects an ancient, enduring wisdom that views food as the vital energy sustaining both the body and civilization.

The main objective of present work is preparation and evaluation of ibuprofen microemulsion for treatment of joint pain. Microemulsions have attracted considerable amount of interest as potential drug delivery vehicles largely due to their simple method of preparation, stability and their abilities to incorporate a wide range of drugs of varying solubility. O/W microemulsion is expected to increase the solubility by dissolving low water solubility compounds into its dispersed phase and to enhance the oral bioavailability by protecting the drug increasing the rate of absorption and wettability due to surfactants induced permeability changes and smaller droplet size and most importantly able to target lymphatic system. Prepared microemulsion formulations by phase-titration method were evaluated for viscosity, drug content, thermodynamic stability studies and in-vitro dissolution. Hence, micro-emulsion of valsartan was successfully developed and evaluated.

Background Adolescence is a critical period of growth and development that requires adequate nutrition for maintaining optimal health and preventing nutritional deficiencies. Poor dietary habits, inadequate nutritional knowledge, and unhealthy lifestyle practices among adolescent girls may adversely affect their physical growth, academic performance, and future maternal health. Nutritional education programs play a significant role in improving awareness and promoting healthy dietary behaviors among adolescents. Objectives 1. To assess the pre-test level of knowledge regarding nutrition among adolescent girls. 2. To evaluate the effectiveness of a structured nutritional education program on knowledge regarding nutrition. 3. To assess the dietary habits and nutritional status of adolescent girls before and after intervention. 4. To determine the association between post-test knowledge scores and selected demographic variables. Methodology A randomized controlled study was conducted among 100 adolescent girls studying in selected schools of Nawanshahr, Punjab. Participants were selected using simple random sampling technique and divided equally into experimental group (50) and control group (50). A structured knowledge questionnaire, dietary habits checklist, and nutritional assessment scale were used for data collection. The experimental group received a structured nutritional education program, while the control group received routine school health education. Post-test assessment was conducted after four weeks. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics including mean, standard deviation, paired and unpaired 't' test, and chi-square test. Results The findings revealed that the mean post-test knowledge score of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. Improvement was also observed in dietary habits and nutritional status among adolescent girls who received the educational intervention. The calculated paired 't' value was found statistically significant at p < 0.05 level, indicating the effectiveness of the structured nutritional education program. Conclusion The study concluded that the structured nutritional education program was highly effective in improving knowledge, dietary habits, and nutritional status among adolescent girls. Regular nutritional education initiatives in schools can help promote healthy eating behaviors and prevent nutritional deficiencies among adolescents.
