The research article highlights on elderly lifestyle determinants Social determinants drivers of health include things such as income, education and one's environment such as unbalanced diet, a lack of physical activity and substance abuse can be linked to a number of major health problems. There is ample evidence that these determinants cause for example diseases like certain cancers, obesity or cardiovascular diseases. In contrast, biological determinants of health include genetics, ancestry, physical activity and personal health conditions and among others. Bio-social determinants of lifestyle in older adults encompass a complex interplay between biological aging to chronic disease, physical capacity, cognitive changes and social factors like income, education, support systems and environment. The influences include economic stability, social engagement, nutrition and mobility, which directly impact health, quality of life and mortality. Cognitive aging is a complex process influenced by diverse life experiences and environmental factors. However, some traditional over simplified this process by assuming that cognitive aging trajectories follow a uniform process and that all individuals will experience similar declines to elderly.

Raktapitta is a classical Ayurvedic disorder characterized by spontaneous bleeding due to vitiation of Rakta and Pitta Dosha, closely resembling hemorrhagic disorders in modern medicine. Durvadi Ghrit, a classical ghrit formulation, is widely used in the management of Raktapitta and other hemorrhagic conditions. Owing to its Rakta-stambhaka, Pitta-shamaka, Sheeta, Daha-prashamana, and Vranaropaka properties, it provides effective and safe clinical outcomes. This article reviews the pharmacological properties, mode of action, clinical applications, dosage, classical references, and correlations between Ayurvedic and modern pharmacological perspectives of Durvadi Ghrit.

Energy inefficiency in residential and institutional sectors has recently been identified as a pressing concern in the wake of growing electricity consumption and limited natural resources. Conventional home automation systems often rely on manual control or fixed scheduling patterns, resulting in inefficient energy use. This paper presents an intelligent smart home energy optimization system that combines machine learning and image processing approaches to mitigate wasteful electricity use. Human presence detection is carried out through computer vision techniques using OpenCV to identify the presence of people in various rooms. Based on the occupancy information, electrical devices are automatically controlled to prevent wastage in unoccupied rooms. Moreover, machine learning algorithms are utilized to examine past energy consumption patterns and predict future usage trends, facilitating the optimization of appliance scheduling. The system utilizes the UCI Appliances Energy Prediction dataset in combination with primary survey data to improve prediction performance. A Streamlit-based dashboard is designed to display real-time information on occupancy, appliance, energy consumption, and estimated energy savings. Experimental outcomes validate the ability of the proposed system to accurately predict appliance energy consumption with an accuracy rate above 85% and a possible reduction of 15-20% in excessive electricity use. The proposed system provides a viable, scalable, and economically feasible solution for smart energy management, helping to promote sustainable living and assist global efforts for accessible and clean energy.

God reveals himself once every several centuries to protect the righteous, destroy the wicked, and firmly establish righteousness. In between, often. He causes the birth of noble souls to spread righteousness. Saints, saviors of society, salt of the earth. Most of these messengers of God did not find safe passage while they were alive. They were beaten with poles and tortured. They were crucified or hanged. Their suffering purified our souls. But God never abandons his devotees. The uniqueness of Indian tradition is that one can consider even another human being as God. So many spiritual aspirants in our country worship their Guru as God. That is why the tradition of a Guru never dries up in India. It is kept alive by worthy disciples and passed down from generation to generation. While Judge Swamiji established the Avadhu tradition in Tamil Nadu and Swayamprakasha Swamiji ensured that it took root, Shantananda Swamiji devoted his time and energy to nurturing it. The purpose of this article is to make you aware that dedication is not surprising.

The Public Distribution System (PDS) plays a vital role in ensuring food security in India by providing essential commodities at subsidized prices to vulnerable populations. Despite its extensive reach, the traditional PDS has been plagued by inefficiencies such as leakages, corruption, duplicate ration cards, and exclusion errors. To address these challenges, the Government of India introduced the Electronic Public Distribution System (e-PDS), supported by Smart Ration Cards integrated with Aadhaar authentication. This article examines the effectiveness of e-PDS through Smart Ration Cards with specific reference to Coimbatore City in Tamil Nadu using primary data collected from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire. The study evaluates beneficiary awareness and the perceived efficiency associated with Smart Ration Cards. The findings reveal that while most beneficiaries are aware of Smart Ration Card features, full utilization remains limited. The quality of food grains and dealer's attitude emerged as major contributors to system effectiveness. A significant positive relationship was found between awareness levels and perceived effectiveness of e-PDS. The study concludes that Smart Ration Cards have improved transparency and efficiency in the PDS, but increased awareness and improved infrastructure are necessary to enhance their overall effectiveness.

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum), a medicinal herb with over 2,000 years of use, yields a potent flavonolignan mixture known as silymarin--whose major component is silybin (silibinin). This review synthesizes current knowledge on the plant's chemistry, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics, emphasizing its hepatoprotective actions--including anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antifibrotic, antioxidant, and liver-regenerating effects. We also examine In-Vitro clinical trial data on conditions such as alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), viral hepatitis, drug-induced liver toxicity, and mushroom poisoning. Though preclinical findings are promising, robust randomized controlled trials are needed to definitively establish clinical efficacy. Pharmacokinetically, silymarin has low oral bioavailability due to poor water solubility and rapid metabolism, though recent advancements in drug delivery systems--such as micellar formulations and nanoparticle encapsulations--have shown promise in enhancing absorption and systemic availability.

Tourism is a vital pillar of India's service-led economic growth, contributing significantly to GDP, employment, foreign exchange earnings, and regional development. As the world's eighth-largest tourism economy, India has immense potential to promote inclusive and sustainable growth, particularly in rural, coastal, and heritage-rich regions. This paper highlights the economic importance of tourism, including employment creation, MSME growth, infrastructure development, and socio-economic transformation, while examining major forms of tourism such as cultural, adventure, medical, and eco-tourism. The study reviews government initiatives and regulatory reforms, including visa liberalisation, Swadesh Darshan 2.0, PRASHAD, sustainability certification, homestay support, and skill development programmes. It also identifies persistent challenges, such as fragmented regulations, delays in approvals, weak ease of doing business for small operators, environmental stress, infrastructure gaps, and coordination issues. The paper recommends regulatory rationalisation, faster clearances, carrying-capacity-based visitor management, improved governance coordination, and enhanced global competitiveness to unlock tourism's full potential as a driver of economic growth and employment.

To make a developed economy, channelization of savings is very important elements. Without saving, the economy of a country cannot grow. Despite significant improvement of the country, there is a large chunk of population which is outside the banking system of the country. To bring the unbanked person of the country into the mainstream of banking system, the Indian government has taken various initiatives like Swabhimaan campaign in 2006. After that in 2014, the Indian government had taken a serious measure to promote financial inclusion targeting the low income earners. The Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojona (PMJDY) is one of such policies which was launched to promulgate the financial inclusion especially among the financially weaker section of the society. The present study tries to analysis the growth and performance of PMJDY scheme in terms of accounts opened, deposits, and Rupay Debit Cards. The study is based on secondary data of ten years from 2015-2025 collected from the official web site of PMJDY. The study revealed that although the number of accounts opened has increased to a great extend yet the amount deposited is too less. The finding also shows persistent year-on-year expansion across all PMJDY indicators. Beneficiaries, deposits, and card issuance follow an almost parallel upward pattern, reflecting synchronized program growth. Deposits and cards both show visible jumps in years where DBT schemes intensified, such as 2018-2021. The study also revealed that India has to go a long way in developing the habit of savings among the people especially the low income earners and daily wage earners
