 Abstract

Childhood trauma is one of the most impactful occurrences in a person's life since it influences many elements of his life and shapes his personality and behavior. Several studies have found that childhood traumas may influence the emergence of criminal conduct in individuals. As a result, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of childhood trauma in criminal behavior, showing the link between the two and identifying the mechanisms that contribute to this association. It has been demonstrated that childhood trauma has a substantial impact on mental health, increasing the likelihood of substance abuse, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other behavioral and psychological issues. Among the various forms of childhood trauma include physical, emotional, and sexual abuse as well as neglect. Children's personality development is negatively impacted by childhood trauma. It is common knowledge that personality is more akin to individual variations in thought, emotion, and behavioral patterns. Adversity during childhood can also affect the formation of personality traits, and it can be acquired later in life. Childhood trauma can damage a child's feeling of safety, fulfilment, and value. Low self-esteem, frequent feelings of insecurity, impulsivity, and irritability are among their shared traits. Trauma has a crucial role in the larger context of criminality, even though it does not justify criminal activity. Trauma experienced as a child raises the likelihood of criminal activity: According to research, experiencing trauma as a youngster greatly raises the chance of committing crimes as an adult.

 Abstract

One of the most important ways to enhance farmers' livelihood is to increase their access to information and market opportunities. Among the most useful tools for this purpose are information and communication technologies (ICTs). To help farmers embrace ICTs for agricultural product marketing, it's important to know what factors influence their acceptance. On the other hand, there is a dearth of research that looks at what factors influence Bangalore farmers to use ICTs for marketing purposes. This study investigates the factors that affect the marketing of fruits through the use of mobile phones as an information and communication technology (ICT) tool in the rural region of Bangalore in Karnataka. Descriptive and inferential statistics as well as a binary logistic regression were employed for data analysis. Researchers observed that farmers with higher levels of education, more disposable income, and who participated in training programmes were more likely to promote their produce using mobile phones as an information and communication technology tool. Considering the demographic, socioeconomic, situational, and institutional qualities of small-scale farmers in developing nations is vital when picking marketing information approaches to deliver and when encouraging farmers to adopt ICT technology for agricultural product marketing.

 Abstract

The rapid surge in video streaming platforms has resulted in unprecedented demands on cloud infrastructures. With millions of concurrent users and unpredictable workload patterns, achieving both scalability and cost efficiency remains a persistent challenge. Traditional reactive scaling methods fail to adequately address real-time workload fluctuations, leading to either resource underutilization or performance bottlenecks. This paper explores Machine Learning (ML)-driven predictive scaling as a transformative approach to optimize cloud resource allocation for real-time video streaming services. We present an in-depth analysis of predictive models, workload forecasting, and automated scaling policies. Furthermore, we propose a conceptual framework that leverages time-series forecasting, reinforcement learning, and anomaly detection to proactively manage cloud workloads. The findings suggest that ML-driven scaling not only improves Quality of Experience (QoE) for end users but also significantly reduces operational costs for service providers.

 Abstract

Work-life balance (WLB) has emerged as a critical determinant of psychological well-being among teaching professionals, particularly within fast-growing academic environments such as Bangalore. Teaching as a profession demands significant emotional, cognitive, and administrative involvement, often extending beyond regular working hours. This study examines the relationship between WLB and psychological well-being among teachers working in Bangalore institutions. Findings indicate that teachers with higher work-life balance reported significantly better psychological well-being. Poor balance was associated with increased stress, emotional exhaustion, and reduced job satisfaction. Institutional factors such as workload, administrative demands, and organizational support played an important mediating role. Providing psychological support systems and flexible work arrangements can further enhance well-being. In turn, these improvements can foster a more positive and productive educational environment. Thus, understanding the factors that influence teachers' work-life balance is integral to strengthening both individual well-being and institutional growth. Strengthening WLB practices can improve both teacher effectiveness and institutional performance. The study also highlights gender and experience-based differences in perceived work-life balance. Enhanced WLB contributed to higher motivation, job commitment, and personal fulfilment. Results underscore the need for institutions to design teacher-friendly policies that promote balance and reduce burnout.

 Abstract

Empagliflozin is a relatively new drug that, as an inhibitor of the sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2), causes increased urinary glucose excretion and thus contributes to improved glycaemic control, better glucose metabolism, reduced glucotoxicity and insulin resistance. Although its original use was to induce a hypoglycaemic effect in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metoprolol Succinate is the succinate salt form of metoprolol, a cardio selective competitive beta-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist with antihypertensive properties and devoid of intrinsic sympathomimetic activity. Metoprolol succinate antagonizes beta 1-adrenergic receptors in the myocardium. This review summarizes various analytical methods development for both drugs, including: UV, HPLC, HPTLC, LC-MS/MS. This method has been validation for parameters such as: linearity, wavelength, solvent, mobile phase, flow rate, retention time and column.

 Abstract

Modern management concepts are often linked to Western theories that emerged in the industrial and post-industrial periods. However, ancient Indian literature, including the Arthashastra, Bhagavad Gita, Chanakya Niti, Manusmriti, and Thirukkural, provide deep insights into leadership, governance, ethics, strategy, and human behavior. This paper reviews the management principles found in these classical texts and investigates their applicability to modern organizational contexts. The study concludes that ancient Indian wisdom provides comprehensive, ethical, and sustainable management approaches that complement modern theories.

 Abstract

The need for safe yet energy-efficient cryptographic techniques has grown due to the Internet of Things (IoT) rapid adoption in smart homes, healthcare, industrial automation, precision agriculture, and intelligent transportation. Strong security is provided by traditional encryption algorithms like AES, RSA, and ECC, but their high computational load, memory consumption, and latency limit their use in ultra-low-power Internet of Things nodes. Optimized algorithms designed for devices with stringent limitations, such as low-frequency microcontrollers, limited RAM/ROM, and battery-operated or harvested-energy designs, are presented by Lightweight Cryptography (LWC). This study offers a thorough analysis of stream ciphers like Trivium and lightweight block ciphers like SIMON, SPECK, PRESENT, and CLEFIA, examining performance aspects like memory footprint, execution time, power consumption, and resistance to cryptanalytic attacks. An evaluation platform based on a Cortex-M0 microcontroller was used to evaluate the energy consumption of a microcontroller during encryption operations. SPECK exhibited the highest efficiency in using software to encrypt data, PRESENT had the lowest number of gate counts on the hardware side, and CLEFIA provided the highest security level. The data demonstrated that lightweight encryption is much more efficient in extending battery life and therefore can support scalable and secure IoT applications.
