Henna is a plant-based dye used for temporary body art, traditionally applied to the skin in intricate designs. It comes from the Lawsonia inermis plant and has been used for centuries in various cultures, particularly in South Asia and the Middle East. The dye stains the skin a reddish-brown color and is often used for special occasions like weddings and festivals. Henna can also be used for dyeing hair and fabrics.Henna has a rich history and wide range of uses. It's believed to have originated in ancient Egypt, where it was used for body art and as a preservative in mummification. In addition to its aesthetic uses, henna has been traditionally employed for its cooling properties and as a remedy for minor skin issues. The dye's active compound, lawsone, binds to the keratin in skin and hair, producing a long-lasting stain. Recent studies explore its potential benefits in modern cosmetics and its role in sustainable, natural alternatives to synthetic dyes.Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a plant used for its natural dye, traditionally applied to the skin and hair for decorative purposes. The dye, derived from the plant's leaves, produces a reddish-brown color. Henna has cultural significance in various regions, especially in South Asia and the Middle East, where it is used in celebrations and rituals. Beyond body art, it is also used as a natural hair dye and in some medicinal applications. Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a plant native to tropical and subtropical regions, including parts of Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Known for its reddish-brown dye, henna has been used for thousands of years in body art, particularly during weddings and celebrations, as well as for dyeing hair and fabrics. The dye is derived from the powdered leaves of the plant, which, when mixed with water, forms a paste applied to the skin or hair.

BACKGROUND: EPILEPSY is a neurological disorder characterized by chronic predisposition Marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions, Associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain, which requires typically two unprovoked seizures. Cognition can be defined as an individual's ability to think, or more precisely, to use information about and from the environment in an adaptive manner. Drugs used to treat epilepsy act by reducing neuronal excitability, which may have the unintended side effect of impairing cognitive function. OBJECTIVE: This review aims to critically evaluate the existing literature on the relationship between epilepsy and cognitive function. KEY WORDS: Epilepsy, Cognition, Antiepileptic Drug, Executive Function METHODS: A systematic search of the MEDLINE database was conducted to identify studies publishedfrom 2019 to the present, focusing on the cognitive effects in epilepsy. Out of 108 initial results, 12 studies (including controlled and randomized controlled trials) met the inclusion criteria for review. CONCLUSION: This review has highlighted the complex relationship between epilepsy and cognitive function, underscoring that seizures and the underlying neurological changes associated with epilepsy can significantly impact cognitive abilities. Key findings indicate that factors such as seizure frequency, type, and the age of onset play critical roles in shaping cognitive outcomes.

The research paper under the title "Addressing Bias in Machine Learning Algorithms Used for AI in Healthcare" focuses on the problem of bias within/across machine learning (ML) algorithms applied to the sphere of healthcare. Incorporating artificial intelligence as a tool in diagnosing diseases and tailoring treatment for patients ratchets up the risk of the negative impacts of bias from these models, to women, coloured people, and other minorities. This paper also divides the major biases existing in the application of healthcare algorithms into selection bias, measurement bias and model bias. Such biases stem from using sketches and unbalanced data that are resulting in discriminated health care, wrong diagnosis, and late treatment for fragile groups of individuals. For example, several research works have indicated that issues of racism in algorithms mean that Black patients are less likely to be prompted to join high risk care programs than the white patient. To minimize such biases' effects, the authors recommend the following strategies; data variety through augmentation, algorithmic fairness, monitoring the AI models' operations, and making the algorithms more open. It also includes the ethical issues being concerned with whether it is equitable, for patient and public benefit, appropriate and transparent and in compliance with the necessary regulations to apply AI in the healthcare sector. According to the paper, there is a need to solve the problem of bias in the ML algorithm if the general healthcare system is to be made fair. When being fair, transparent, and representative the utilization of AI systems enhances patient experiences, increases general population trust in the AI, and is also in compliance with ethical and/or legal procedures.

Television advertising significantly impacts children's perceptions of self-esteem and body image, often portraying unrealistic standards that influence young viewers. This study examines how exposure to TV advertisements affects children's self-esteem and body image, assessing whether the portrayal of idealized beauty and body standards in ads contributes to negative self-perception among young audiences. A sample of 250 children aged 8 to 14 years from schools in Bhopal, India, was used for the study. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining structured questionnaires with focus group discussions to explore children's perceptions of body image influenced by TV ads. The study utilized statistical tools such as correlation and regression analysis to determine the relationship between ad exposure and self-esteem/body image perceptions. Findings reveal a significant negative correlation between exposure to TV ads and children's self-esteem, with frequent exposure to ads promoting beauty and fitness products linked to lower body satisfaction and self-worth. The study highlights the need for critical media literacy education and the promotion of diverse body representations in advertising to mitigate these effects. Future research should investigate long-term impacts and the role of parental guidance in moderating media influences on children's self-perception.
